Peneira (in Portuguese, Sieve) is a multicultural organization created in Rio de Janeiro in 2010, which seeks aesthetical possibilities in its numerous actions in the field of creative industry. Acting through a combination of languages, Peneira proposes a series of artistic processes, on top of viabilization and mobilization strategies and catalytic methodologies aiming at cultural and social transformations.

In view of its educational character, Sieve organizes workshops and debates around topics, such as: artistic interventions in public spaces, contemporary popular culture, literary movements and creations and strategies for cultural production.
