Sarau do Escritório is a space for artistic experimentation which happens since November 2013 on the Luana Muniz Square, in Lapa. The artistic intervention blends a mix of artistic languages and puts forward the idea of the public space as a site for creation and for meeting people from all over the world . From rap to cordel, including poetry, theater, music, projections, exhibitions, circus performances and book releases, Sarau do Escritório has had editions in Recife, Bahia, Minas Gerais countryside and Portugal.

In the 4 years it had been running, Sarau do Escritório has featured around 1300 artists and reached an audience of 30 thousand people. Those numbers do not take into account the open mike, in which the audience is invited to interact with the artists all through the show.
